THE SERVICE TOSS On important points which equals all points, it is important to keep the pressure on your opponent. The initial way to do this on serve is to get the first serve in. It is psychologically very important in practice to warm up and maintain consistency on first serve. It is quite intimidating to face a player that hits relaxed first serves in five or six times in a row. You are consciously aware that you will not get free points. It is important for you as well to hit your practice returns in and get a real feel for the shot now as well. Rich@TeachingTennis.com

- ATL Spring 2012 Season Key Dates:
Team Registration - Dec. 20, 2011 through Sunday January 8, 2012.
League Play Begins on Saturday January 28, 2012.
19 players can be added to rosters until 10 PM Friday January 27, 2012.
- NEW PLAYER PROGRAM - ATL also offers tennis activities to new players. "New" includes experienced players who are new to Austin or those returning to tennis after a break.
